Georgii's
Musical Theatre
and Singing Company

The Company
Georgii's Musical Theatre & Singing Company was set up in May 2014 by Georgii Bailey.
After leaving university in 2013 with a BA (Hons) in Musical Theatre, Georgii returned to Chesterfield to start her career in teaching where she began her PGCE at Chesterfield College. During this time, the company was set up with the intention of providing students with the necessary skills to perform in musicals but most importantly, to find, develop and nurture confidence.
We teach the triple threat skills: singing, dancing and acting.
The students explore their imagination, improvisation and creativeness through drama games which encourage them to make new friends, build confidence and work on their acting skills.
We then participate in a physical warm up through interactive games and learn dance routines of varied levels to Musical Theatre numbers. Performance and facial expression are both encouraged throughout to introduce the combination of skills: dance and acting.
And not forgetting the vocals! We all participate in a strong vocal warm up before singing to help develop singing technique and skills ready for performance. The students learn a range of Musical Theatre songs and have the opportunity to take on solo lines through small auditions.
All that's left to do is combine all three skills by performing the material learnt!
We also provide Private Singing Lessons tailored to each student's needs. These are done on a one-to-one basis and the students are given opportunities to perform solo and as part of the Musical Theatre groups.
